The LCHS Key Club went to DCON, District Convention, in Billings and is coming home with 4 awards. Most Man Miles, Recruitment, Governor's Project (for our help with the money raised for the animal shelter), and Division of the YEAR! We're so proud! In addition to the awards, Louis S. is the Leutenant Govenor elect for Divsion 8. Houston H. Is his predecessor and was able to pass on the torch by pinning Louis during an induction ceremony at convention. Congratulations Louis!

For their annual trip, the National Honor Society students chose to go to Banff and Calgary. They went ice hiking up Jonston Canyon Trail, to a Calgary Flames hockey game, and participated in a scavenger hunt at the Calgary Zoo, plus much more.

20 of Mrs. Seng’s Art Students were chosen for the juried exhibition titled Corridor 93. They were able to visit Missoula and see it yesterday at the University of Montana. Today Feb 22 is the closing ceremony, from 12-4; if anyone is in Missoula and wants to see it, it’s at the Social Sciences building on campus! Great job students









We are excited to announce that we are offering an Adult Welding class. Classes will be Tuesday evenings for 7 weeks, with classes on 2/25, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, and 4/15. Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks is offering Hunters Education starting on March 11. There will be 7 evening courses and one Saturday field day. The Survival Science learned what to do if stuck in cold weather. They built a shelter and fire. The shelter was a little lacking but the fire felt nice and was hot enough to cook hotdogs and s’mores on! Keep safe everyone is this bitter cold weather!
