Notice of Cancellation of Trustee Election for the Trego HS Seat for the School Board.
The LCHS Prom is on May 4 and will be held at Abayance Bay. We are trying out something new this year, and offering dinner before prom. The Bowl at Abayance will be serving dinner starting at 5:30 until 7:00. Cost per plate is only $15. We will be selling dinner tickets and reservations from April 29 - May 2. Students will be able to get these at the school. Tickets to prom are at a reduced price this year, only $15 each. The Grand March will be held in the Abayance Bay Stage at 7:30pm, with the Prom starting at 8:00pm and ending at 12:00am , Destination DJ will be providing the music. Announcement of Royalty and a lantern ceremony on Lake Koocanusa will be at 11:00pm. It should be a beautiful prom, and we hope to see many students there!

We are now signing up students for our Summer Drivers Ed Program. Students must be 14 1/2 years old with a birthday on or before January 31, 2010 to be eligible to take. Students will be accepted with the oldest students qualifying first and class will be limited to 30 students. The Parent Meeting will be April 24 at 6:00pm in the LCHS Auditorium, with classes beginning on April 30. Classroom portion is about 5-6 weeks with classes 2-3 times a week from 6:45am-8:00am with driving after school and the weekends. The classroom portion of the class will be finished by June 6. Drives will be done by June 31 at the latest. Deadline to sign up: April 17. STUDENTS AND PARENTS WILL BE CONTACTED APRIL 19 TO NOTIFY IF THEIR SON/DAUGHTER QUALIFIES FOR THE CLASS. Students will not miss any school athletics or activities, but may miss an occasional practice. We will work around the Junior High History Trip. Cost of the class: $300. Child Find is also an opportunity to have your 3-5 year old child get screened. Call the elementary to schedule an appointment.

February 15, 2024 - Today, Sunburst Arts brought in Rebecca Folsom Music to the Elementary School. The band performed for the 3rd & 4th graders, offering music, sing-a-long, and answering questions. They then played for the Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders as they ate lunch. What a great experience for the school!

Important Notice. We are still planning on having school tomorrow. We will make a decision on the buses in the morning dependent upon the current road conditions. If it is unsafe to drive your kids to school, keep them home. If you can bring them, we will be open. You will receive a text and an email from Superintendent Graves in the morning on status of the buses. Thank you.
Attention Middle School Students: Do you like games that require strategy? Join Mr. Deshazer for this activity on Wednesdays starting January 17th. Are you a fan of Ice Fishing? Join Mr. Holder starting January 29th at the After School Program. This activity will be every school Monday until Spring Break, weather permitting. Students must be pre-registered to attend. You're invited Monday, January 15 at 6:30pm in the high school auditorium to a meeting put on by Lifeguard Group. They be presenting to our community about online safety and the dangers of sex trafficking. This is something that is growing in Montana and parents need to be aware of how to protect their children. Our teachers are being trained during our PIR day on Monday, January 15th and students grades 7-12 will listen to a presentation on Tuesday, January 16th.
If this is something you do not want your child to listen to, please call your school's office and an alternative placement will be provided during the assembly.
