Welcome to the Special Education Department of Eureka Public Schools

OUR MISSION

We are committed to supporting students with disabilities and their families through individualized, meaningful, and inclusive educational services.

WE VALUE

We value strong family partnerships and are always here to listen, support, and work together for your child.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to empower students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally while preparing them for life beyond school. We value family partnerships and encourage open communication as we work together to support every learner.

In accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Eureka Public Schools provides a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to eligible children and youth ages 3 through 22. Our team works collaboratively with families, educators, and related service providers to design and implement individualized programs that address each student’s unique strengths and needs.
