Class & Club News:

The prom decorating committee will meet in Mrs. Steward’s room every Tuesday and Thursday after school until the prom.

Prom tickets are on sale today at noon.  They will be $15 for singles and $25 for couples.  Buy your tickets early, as they will cost more at the door.

Those students interested in driver’s education please sign up with Mr. Newell or Mr. VanNess by today.

Softball open gym in the high school gym 4:00 to 5:30 pm tonight.

Guidance News:

Local Scholarships available:  Scholarship in memory of Maxine Vredenburg – deadline April 15th, Eureka Masonic Lodge Scholarship – deadline April 30th.

Reminder:  Lincoln Electric Co-Op’s “Luck of the Draw” Scholarship applications are due into the Co-Op this Friday, March 12th by 4:30 PM.

Flathead Valley Community College Scholarships priority deadline is March 15th.

Montana Community Foundation Scholarships deadline is March 15th.

The U.S. Forest Service will be holding an informational meeting for students interested in summer employment Tuesday, March 23rd at 11:15 in the auditorium.  This includes both YCC and Summer Hire.  Please sign up in the front office and pre-approve your absence with your 4th period teacher.   

The Ryan E. Wagner Memorial Scholarship is being offered to students pursuing a career in science (including teaching), natural resources, technology, or automotive fields.  Applications are available in the guidance office – deadline is April 30th.

Other News:

Please remember that if you are inviting a guest who is not a student at LCHS to prom, you must pick up a guest pass from the office, have it approved by Mr. Graves, and turn it back into the office by tomorrow!

Students: hot lunch will be served in the elementary school on Thursday due to prom preparations.

If you ordered a tux from Eureka Floral and haven’t tried it on yet, please do it ASAP!
