Class & Club News:
There will be a Prom Committee meeting Thursday in Mrs. Pacella’s room at lunch time.

Honor Society meeting today at 12:15 in the library.

STAR is conducting a Haiti fund-raiser class competition. Each class will have a collection jar during lunch time the week of February 15--18th.  The winning class will have an ice-cream social.

EMS Explorers will meet Wednesday for a first aid class from 8:30 to 3:30 at the ambulance barn.

STAR lunch Thursday. All members are to attend.

Sports News:
Babe Ruth and Legion baseball sign-ups will be held tonight at 7:30 pm in the commons.

Guidance News:
Reminder to seniors with a 3.5 GPA or higher, your MUS Honor Scholarship applications are due into the guidance office by February 15th.

The KFC Colonel’s Scholarship deadline is this Wednesday, February 10th.

A representative from MSU Northern - Havre will be here Wednesday  at 10:45 to speak with interested students.  Please sign up in the guidance office if you are interested in attending.

Other News:
The 2010 yearbooks are almost sold out.  If you know you want to buy one, don’t wait!  Just $25 will hold one for you until they arrive in May.  Please bring your money to Mrs. Cheek from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We are not ordering any extra yearbooks this year!

The Office of Public Instruction (OPI) is conducting a scholastic review of LCHS. This will be done by a team (SRT) of people from OPI. The survey is for them to gather some perception data before arriving to our site. If there are any community members who would like to be interviewed by the SRT they can contact Mr. Graves at the high school. The SRT will be conducting interviews during the week of February 8-11.
